Welcome to the South West Durham Veterans Bowling League website

This site provides information about the league, its teams and it is the central focus point for the member clubs, their teams as well as providing general information about our sport to other clubs and interested people in the county.

You can learn our sport in 10 minutes but will spend a long time mastering it. Our league is aimed at players who are 60 or older, we play our league matches every Wednesday afternoon during the season and currently we facilitate 180 members playing each week for 18 weeks.

We particularly want people to take up our sport and inside this site there is information about clubs in our county and their locations. You do not have to be 60 or over to play Bowls, that is just a requirement for this league, all of our league teams will be happy to introduce people of all ages to our sport.
